Business disputes are resolved in varying ways, depending on the nature of the dispute and the relationship of the disputants.  Where the disputants have a level of trust and are inclined to resolve their dispute without the intervention of the courts, then it is often possible to negotiate a settlement without the need for a protracted lawsuit.

Whenever possible, we encourage clients to explore settlement options without resort to expensive litigation, which can easily consume months and, perhaps, years of time.  To that end, we regularly represent clients during informal negotiations to try to resolve disputes without (further) litigation.  Sometimes, we assist clients in locating and retaining an appropriate neutral (such as a retired judge / mediator) to assist with settlement negotiations. 

However, where it is necessary or advisable, we zealously represent our clients in court to resolve a business dispute through a court or jury trial.
