Richard J. La Fleur and Nader Robert Yasin founded La Fleur & Yasin LLP in February 2003, after working together at a larger, multi-service law firm.
They founded the firm to provide boutique legal services in related Practice Areas centered around business and real-estate law where Legal Focus is important.
They believed, and continue to believe, that smaller, highly-specialized law firms can provide better service and value than large, multi-practice firms and unspecialized "general practitioners."
They also believed, and continue to believe, that clients should always come first - before billable hours, revenue and similar concepts - and that lawyers have an ethical obligation to act with diligence, competence and professionalism on behalf of their clients.
